Indie88 Premiere: Lewis Knaggs shares video for new single ‘Hold On’

A grand, black-and-white clip from the British artist

British artist Lewis Knaggs has shared a video for his new single, “Hold On.”

“It’s a song about looking back at the past and wondering how your future will be shaped by it,” Knaggs explains. “Hoping you take the good things and leave the bad, but either way you’re going to hold on to those first experiences of love and life, good or bad. It’s a lot about acceptance.”

“Hold On” is a powerful, energetic track that revolves around Knaggs’ throaty vocal lines. The accompanying video was shot in both an underground carpark and at an abandoned road in London, England during lockdown. The clip for “Hold On” is powerful in its cinematography, with grand, black-and-white clips of Knaggs making his way through different settings.
