Indie88 Premiere: Marlon Chaplin drops new neon-tinged video for ‘The Circle’

Marlon Chaplin has released a new neon-tinged video for the title track off of his latest album The Circle.

“The Circle” is an anthemic track that comes packed with grainy guitar lines, a driven drum beat, and gritty vocals. The accompanying Michael Greggain-directed video fits the track perfectly as Chaplin finds himself at a colourful masquerade party, walking through a barren field with a peculiar door in the center, and wandering through a dark forest.

“The theme of the music and artwork centres around ideas of a cyclical nature,” Chaplin explains. “Be it social, economic, spiritual or technological. It’s about growth, birth, death and everything in between.”

Watch the video for ‘The Circle” below.

Catch Marlon Chaplin at Indie Week in Toronto on November 14th.
