Minneapolis psych sludge-pop outfit Nallo have released a trippy video for their new track, “Anger and Figureheads.”
The energetic, punky new tune comes packed with punchy guitar lines and a raucous drum beat as frontman Andrew Ranallo’s silky vocals and quirky lyricism take the lead. The accompanying video is delightfully peculiar as pairs of gloved hands play with mundane objects on a white background, pouring coffee until it spills over, ripping an orange apart, and slathering everything in paint.
“I wrote this while navigating some messy personal relationships and trying to survive in the current American swirl of anger, mental unhealth, internet trolls and violence,” Ranallo explains to Indie88. “The video is an attempt at trying to create something as chaotic and uncomfortable as the experience itself.”

Nallo’s full-length self-titled album is set for release on November 22nd digitally and on vinyl, and you can pre-order it here.
