Indie88 Premiere: The Treble release video for new single ‘Fix of You’

The clip is directed by the band’s bassist Patrick Hansen

Winnipeg alt-rock outfit The Treble have made their return with a video for their new single, “Fix of You.”

“‘Fix of You’ is about the people and things in our lives that we know are bad for us but we keep going back to,” the band explains in a statement. “It’s about lying to the people you love so you can see the person that’s tearing your world apart.”

The video, which is directed by the band’s bassist Patrick Hansen, features Winnipeg contemporary dancers Reid McTavish and Madison Dueck. The clip truly shows that dichotomy, articulating how “we start off a relationship looking for excitement, we begin side-by-side, but slowly we start to lose ourselves within that relationship,” the band explains. The Treble performs beneath pink and blue lights in front of vintage television screens as McTavish and Dueck dance in a duet that gets progressively more aggressive and hostile.
