iPhones: Is There Anything They Can’t Do?

5 things your iPhone will soon be able to do for you

Love. The answer is Love. But since the iPhone 6 is expected to be announced Sept 9th and we spend 16 hours a day staring at our screens anyway, they might as well do something useful.

Here are 5 impressive things the iPhone will soon be able to do.

START YOUR CAR WITH IT

The new Tesla Model S OS update will allow you to start the car with an iPhone app AND it’s electric so you won’t be polluting while you idle. Seems like it won’t be long before other car manufacturers follow suit.

LOCK YOUR BIKE WITH IT
iPhone Noke
Don’t worry about forgetting the key for your bike lock – the Noke (“No key”) bluetooth lock from Fuz Designs automatically unlocks when you’re within 10 feet of your bike. Phone died? You can also program a series of long and short taps on the lock’s shank to get it open.

GO TO SHOWS WITH IT
iPhone ticketmaster
Ticketmaster launched a new app this year that skips the “Captcha” security measure that makes you type in random numbers and letters to prove you’re a real person. You can also get push notifications, transfer and sell tickets, and scan at the door to avoid printing off a paper copy.

PAY FOR THINGS WITH IT

The iPhone 6 is rumoured to have a mobile payment platform with NFC (“Near Field Communication”). It’ll be like the tap feature on your credit card for cash registers or vending machines.

STAY HEALTHY WITH IT

Apple’s Health app will be able to store personal health records and even track abnormal health results and schedule doctor’s appointments. Just be careful not to forward your test results to everyone in your contacts.
