‘It: Chapter One’ to be re-released in theatres with new footage from upcoming sequel

There will be 8 minutes of unseen post-credit footage from sequel

The highly successful readaptation of Stephen King’s It: Chapter One is going to be rereleased in theatres in the United States to get audiences ready for the sequel.

In the end credits of Chapter One, there will be terrifying unseen post-credits footage from the sequel. It: Chapter Two will be out in September and US ticket firm Fandango has confirmed that the re-release will feature eight minutes of footage from the forthcoming flick. This will give audiences a chance to freshen their memories from the first film, as well as get excited about the sequel.

Chapter Two has the Loser Club reuniting 27 years later to complete the promise they had made to get rid of It, aka Pennywise, once and for all. There is much anticipation for the sequel and if you have missed it, watch the trailer for It: Chapter Two below.

The film stars James McAvoy, Jessica Chastain, Bill Skarsgård, Bill Hader, Jay Ryan, Isaiah Mustafa, James Ransone, and Andy Bean. It: Chapter Two will be released on September 6th.
