Jack White Talks ‘Lazaretto’ + Performs A Couple Tracks

Jack White is on fire. With the release of his new album Lazaretto today, Jack White has been chatting with everyone about the inspiration behind the album, the ultra LP vinyl features and a ton more. You came here for Jack White news, so let’s dive in. First thing’s first, Jack White was on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon to celebrate the release of his second solo album. He talked about a bunch of cool things including his mom, Neil Young, and of course the release of his ultra LP. You can watch the two part video and his performances down below.

White also spoke with Triple J about the inspiration behind the album revealing that much of the record was a collaboration with his younger self:

“I found a batch of things in a box, and I found some writings and they were okay. They were scribbles, different ideas, one act plays… So I thought: ‘What if I collaborated with my younger self?’ What if we wrote a song together and I taught myself to write a song?”
