In November of 2019, Jagged Little Pill the musical began previews on Broadway.
Jagged Little Pill the musical was based on Alanis Morissette’s breakout album of the same name, and included a book written by filmmaker Diablo Cody.
Morissette also contributed two new singles to the musical, which went on to earn a whopping 15 Tony Award nominations.
The Jagged Little Pill album celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2020. With more than 33 million sales worldwide, Jagged Little Pill is one of the best-selling albums of all time, and even made Morissette the first Canadian to achieve double-diamond sales.
