James Blake releases orchestral new single ‘Famous Last Words,’ pushes album release to October

James Blake has shared a new single called “Famous Last Words.”

The track comes from Blake’s forthcoming album, Friends That Break Your Heart, which was originally set for release last week. Due do vinyl factory delays, that release date has been pushed back to October. “Famous Last Words” follows previously released singles, “Say What You Will” and “Life Is Not The Same.”

This new slowly building track opens with pulsing synths until the track swells into something new entirely. Exploding into a stunning orchestral tune, this dynamic tune is a must-listen. Throughout the single, Blake sings lines like, “That feeling/ I should’ve lost it/ I should’ve lost it by now.”
