James Murphy is a man of many skills – since LCD Soundsystem broke up, he has dabbled in many different areas, including production, scoring, experimental music projects and filmmaking. His latest project will see him open a wine bar in Brooklyn, New York. It’ll hold about 40 people, and offer about 160 wines at the outset, with that number later rising to about 350. The wines will be mostly natural ones and include both unconventional and classic options. The menu will also offer food.
Four Horsemen will open in Williamsburg in early June, and is Murphy’s partnership project with his wife.
