Japanese psych-rockers Kikagaku Moyo have shared their fifth and final album, Kumoyo Island.

Out now via their own label Guruguru Brain, the record serves as their final release before they go on an indefinite hiatus. Kumoyo Island is a pretty full-circle moment, as the band reconvened at Asakusabashi, Tokyo’s Tsubame Studios, which is where they recorded their earliest releases.

Serving as the follow-up to 2018’s Masana Temples, Kumoyo Island is sure to keep you guessing. From funk-driven jams to psych pop anthems, you’re sure to find everything on this complex, genre-bending 11-track release.
