Fans who showed up for Jenn Grant’s scheduled show at The Great Hall a couple weeks ago were treated to an impromptu street performance from the Halifax-based singer-songwriter after the gig was postponed due to a safety issue. Today, a makeup show has been announced for June 23 at Massey Hall.
Tickets for the original March 24 date have been assigned “preferred seating” for the Massey Hall show. A public on sale is set for this Friday April 7 at 10 a.m.

Grant expressed her excitement in a press release over landing a date at Massey Hall.
“The band and I were truly heartbroken to not be able to play in Toronto a few weeks ago. I was hoping something beautiful might be born from this mishap and well, I’m beside myself with excitement, I hope it will make up for the lack of concert and disappointment we all suffered with the last minute cancellation that night.
“It’s been a dream of mine since I can remember to play Massey Hall, and I can’t quite believe I get to. I can’t wait to get back to Toronto and share this new album, old songs, and have all our hearts together in one big room for one extra magical evening on June 23rd.”
The Wooden Sky will join Grant on the bill for the Massey Hall show on June 23.
