Jon Hamm is set to take over Chevy Chase’s roll in a modern reboot of Fletch.

Not only will Hamm be starring, but he’ll also produce alongside his manager Connie Tavel, with Greg Mottola (Superbad, Adventureland) directing.
Miramex is making a new movie based Confess Fletch, the second book in the series. In the book, Fletch is the prime suspect in a murder, attempting to prove his innocence. Along the way, he has to search for his fiancée’s stolen art collection after her father goes missing.
