Joss Whedon and a Bunch of Celebrities Will Make Mark Ruffalo Go Nude If Trump Loses

Some of Hollywood’s most recognizable faces– or should we say, a “shit ton of famous people”, teamed up to prepare the world for the one important thing all Americans needs to remember this fall: Don’t vote for Trump. As if people need a reminder.

A whole bunch of celebs have banded together to get American voters to the polls November 8th – for the sake of the country.

The PSA is the first video in a series coming from Joss Whedon’s initiative, Save the Day, which is “dedicated to the idea that voting is a necessary and heroic act” and “committed to fighting the apathy, cynicism, and honest confusion that keeps citizens from using their vote”.

The clip includes a total of 27 celebrities, including Robert Downey Jr, Scarlett Johansson, James Franco, Neil Patrick Harris, Taran Killam, Stanley Tucci, Martin Sheen, and even Robin Scherbatsky *ahem* Cobie Smulders. But wait! Isn’t she Canadian?

The answer is YES – but she’s there for a good reason. The witty PSA is urging US voters that their vote will not only affect the country, but the world as a whole. And though, the video never mentions any names (well, besides Mark Ruffalo), actor Don Cheadle says it is important not to elect “a racist, abusive coward who could permanently damage the fabric of our society”. Wonder who is he referring to..

Hamilton’s Leslie Odom Jr. also asks why the country would want to “give nuclear weapons to a man whose signature move is firing things.” Touché.

As the video comes to a close, the celebrities all promise that Ruffalo will do a nude scene in his next movie if Hillary Clinton wins the next election. Ruffalo didn’t seem too keen on the idea, but that’s not to say we can’t have hope.

The director, Joss Whedon, told The Hollywood Reporter that, “It’s not about attacking because Donny [Trump’s] real good at attacking himself. It’s about getting people to vote, because it’s frightening the apathy that people are treating the most crucial election of their lifetimes with.”

There you have it. American’s will head to the polls November 8th.
