Joy Division’s seminal debut record Unknown Pleasures is set to get a special edition re-release next month to celebrate its 40th anniversary.
The groundbreaking album was first dropped in June 1979, and it features hit tracks like “She’s Lost Control,” “Shadowplay,” and “New Dawn Fades.” The forthcoming limited edition re-release will drop on June 14th, and is set to include an LP pressed on 180g ruby red vinyl, an alternative white sleeve paying tribute to the original design idea, and a new Unknown Pleasures white t-shirt.
