On October 15, almost exactly one year since the release of July Talk’s debut album, the band will release an expanded version including four additional songs. The fresh tracks are called “Headsick”, “Summer Dress”, and “My Neck”, and will be inserted into the tracklist rather than tacked on at the end.
Singer Peter Dreimanis said in a statement, “We’ve always felt that the first record is a good introduction to the band and the conversation between Leah and I. It was important to us to add new material because we didn’t feel like that introduction was finished. We’ve been on the road all year, a lot has happened and there is simply more to say.”
The expanded version will be available on October 15 through Sleepless Records (formerly known as White Girl) and Universal.
