K.Flay’s new single ‘Nothing Can Kill Us’ is an ode to ‘the immortality of your memories’

Alt-rocker K.Flay is back with her new single, “Nothing Can Kill Us.”

The dreamy new single serves as an ode to the power of your memories. It’s about their ability to linger long after someone’s out of their life. “Nothing Can Kill Us” is produced by Sir Sly‘s Jason Suwito. It comes from her forthcoming EP, Outside Voices, out November 19th via BMG.

“‘Nothing Can Kill Us’ is about losing someone,” K.Flay explains. “It’s about reflecting back on a relationship and the feeling of invincibility you have while you’re in it — this will last forever!!! But also embracing the immortality of your memories, and of someone’s impact on you. A relationship might end or change, and it might hurt a lot, but nothing can destroy what it meant. Nothing can ever kill that.”

Listen to “Nothing Can Kill Us” below.

Outside Voices follows K.Flay’s Inside Voices, which came out earlier this year. That collection features guest appearances from Travis Barker and Tom Morello.
