Kendrick Lamar appears to tease that ‘Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers’ could be a double album

Kendrick Lamar (or should we say oklama) has shared a new teaser about his forthcoming album, Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers.

After announcing his album just over two weeks ago, Kendrick has appeared to tease that the record could be a pretty big one. When he announced the album, which is out on May 13th, on the oklama.com site, a press release revealed that “all factual information for this release will come directly from this source only.”

In a new post on oklama.com, there’s a picture of a book and two burned CDs. Kendrick’s name is scrawled across the front of the book alongside “Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers.” One disc reads “MORALE” and “MASTER COPY,” while the second reads “STEPPERS” and “MASTER COPY.” It looks like we could have a double LP in the works! And perhaps even a new book?

The follow-up to DAMN is on the horizon in just over a week, and it serves as his first new album in five years. When Kendrick Lamar teased his “final TDE album” last summer, he signed the note “oklama,” posting it on oklama.com. Now, the exact same site has shared a press release “from the desk of oklama.”

Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers will not only mark his fifth album to date, but it will also be his final release with Top Dawg Entertainment. He’s leaving his longtime label for pgLang.
