Fried chicken chain KFC has temporarily suspended its “Finger Lickin’ Good” slogan in what appears to be a move rooted in both response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, and some good old fashioned viral marketing.
The company shared a short video to make the announcement, stating “That thing we always say? Ignore it. For now.”
