Kid from ‘School of Rock’ has been arrested four times for stealing guitars

He stole a handful of guitars and an amplifier

Joey Gados Jr., better known for his role as young guitarist Zack “Zack-Attack” Mooneyham in School of Rock, is currently facing charges for stealing guitars in Florida, according to TMZ.

In 2003, guitar-playing Gaydos starred beside leading man Jack Black in the hit Richard Linklater-directed flick where he played a shy pupil who eventually gained confidence that rivaled the likes of rock stars. The one-hit-wonder child star was caught by police four times in the past five weeks where he allegedly stole guitars and an amplifier. Now, he’s facing felony charges of larceny and grand theft.

Allegedly, Gaydos would walk into music stores and ask to try out guitars, and he would then walk out with the instrument and sell it to a pawn shop. He swiped a handful of axes, including an $800 blue Epiphone Les Paul Prophecy, a $699 black Fender Stratocaster, and a $1,900 Gibson Les Paul gold top.

For those about to rock, we salute you…unless you’re stealing a bunch of gear.
