Lauryn Hill Cancels Anniversary Shows Due to ‘Unforeseen Production Issues’

Several Shows Cancelled after Toronto's Disappointment

Roughly a week after Lauren Hill performed her Toronto show at Budweiser Stage, a show that left many fans feeling angry and disappointed, the singer announced a series of cancellations for upcoming U.S performances. Live Nation also made this announcement via Facebook.

Thus far, tonight’s show in Charlotte, NC has been cancelled as well as tomorrow’s in Raleigh, NC (July 26th). Tampa Bay Times announced that a show in St. Petersburg, FL, set for July 29th has also been cancelled. The Times reported that Hill’s performance in Jacksonville, FL, set for August 2nd has been called off.

Hill’s last Canadian performance is in Burnaby, BC, although it has not yet been cancelled. Refunds will be made for canceled performances, as announced by Live Nation. Further commentary or reasoning has not been made.
