A Toronto home under construction met its match Wednesday, nearly falling over from heavy winds that blew through Leslieville.
Responders were called to the home on Leslie St., south of Queen St. around 11:30 to find the house “swaying back and forth” in the wind, Toronto Fire District Chief Stephan Powell told CBC.

Reaching over 50km/h, heavy winds eventually blew the house over, resulting in the frame leaning on the adjacent house. Residents of the neighbouring house voluntarily evacuated, though it’s not clear yet if their house was damaged by the fall.
