Liam and Noel Gallagher are set to executive produce a forthcoming Oasis documentary.
The documentary marks the 25th anniversary of a pair of gigs at Knebworth in August of 1996, and the film is set to chronicle those shows.
The gig that defined an era. The 2 days in Aug 96, remembered forever by 250k Oasis fans as 1 of the greatest rock‘n’roll events to ever take place on British soil.

The forthcoming documentary will be directed by Jake Scott and produced by Ridley Scott’s RSA Films, and it will see the Gallagher brothers putting aside their very public differences to executive produce.
“It’s a story-driven entirely by the music, a rock and roll experience, told in the moment, like a visual stream of consciousness that is built around the extensive archive footage from the event,” Scott explains. “No on-camera interviews or unnecessary celebrity recollections.”
