Liam Gallagher, former Oasis frontman, has been questioned by London police over a possible assault of his girlfriend at a London venue.
Authorities have described the incident as “consistent with assault,” and CCTV footage in a report by The Sun appears to show the singer grab his girlfriend Debbie Gwyther by the throat at Chiltern Firehouse on August 9th.
After the report, Gallagher tweeted denying the claims.
Firstly I have never put my hands on any woman in a vicious manner Secondly there is only 1 witch and we all know who that is as you were LG x

Gwyther has also reached out on Instagram and called The Sun‘s report a “pack of lies,” and adds that there is a “legal case impending.”
Police have confirmed that they are aware of the footage, and an individual was interviewed on September 25th regarding the incident.
No arrests have been made at this time.
