Listen: Ben Rogers premieres ‘A Changed Man,’ signs to Dallas Green’s Still Records

A dark, melancholic ballad

Following 2015’s album The Bloodred Yonder, Ben Rogers has signed to Dallas Green’s recently launched Still Records label for his upcoming album, and in honour of the announcement he’s released a new track called “A Changed Man.”

Green himself produced the album, including the melancholic ballad “A Changed Man,” which was inspired by other peoples’ experiences with domestic violence. Rogers dedicates the song to the victims and survivors of abuse, and also sees the track as a sort of rebirth as both a songwriter and a performer.

“When I wrote ‘A Changed Man’ I loosely based it on a true story I had read, but the more I wrote the more I realized that it is based on many true stories. Far too many,” Rogers explained according to Exclaim.
