Bob Dylan has released a track for the first time in eight years — and it’s a song about the assassination of former U.S. president John F. Kennedy.
The track, titled “Murder Most Foul,” opens with the details of Kennedy’s assassination in 1963 during a tour in Dallas, Texas. “Twas a dark day in Dallas, November ’63/A day that will live on in infamy/President Kennedy was a-ridin’ high/Good day to be livin’ and a good day to die.”
Running nearly 17-minutes long, the track explores life in the ’60s before and after Kennedy’s assassination and the effect his death had on the U.S.
Greetings to my fans and followers with gratitude for all your support and loyalty across the years.
This is an unreleased song we recorded a while back that you might find interesting.
Stay safe, stay observant and may God be with you.
