Listen: Bono releases song dedicated to people affected by coronavirus

For people in isolation and the health care workers on the front lines

Bono took to Instagram on St. Patrick’s Day to share a new track dedicated to those affected by the coronavirus outbreak.

“Let Your Love Be Known” is the U2 frontman’s first release since 2017. Sitting at a piano, Bono sung a somber ballad about the isolation many around the world are experiencing while praising the health care workers for fighting the virus.

The caption on the Instagram post reads, “For the Italians who inspired it… for the Irish… for ANYONE who this St. Patrick’s day is in a tight spot and still singing. For the doctors, nurses, carers on the front line, it’s you we’re singing to.”
