Canadian indie duo Partner have just dropped their first-ever French track with their new ballad “Les ailes d’un ange,” which comes off of their forthcoming EP Saturday the 14th.
The power ballad tune, which uses a poem by Cedric Sims, is a bold, tongue-in-cheek style track inspired by lively, exultant artists like Celine Dion, Elton John, and more. “This song is about going down to ‘hell’ to face your greatest fears,” the band explains in a statement. “The song explores how, by having the courage to face your fears head on, you find you possess a strength you never knew. In order to craft this song, we had to face our greatest fears as artists. So form imitates content.”

Saturday the 14th is set for release on April 5th.
