Los Angeles trio Cherry Glazerr are keeping listeners on their toes with a fun remix of “Daddi,” a hit song from their new 2019 album Stuffed & Ready.
The band teamed up with Reggie Watts, best known as the band lead on The Late Late Show with James Corden, to create a tune that would get audiences dancing. “I think a lot of rock musicians secretly would love to make a club floor banger – and Reggie helped us get there with his amazing booty shaking remix of ‘Daddi.'” said Cherry Glazerrs’ lead vocalist Clementine Creevy in a press release. Booty shaking is right! The song’s consistent bass line contrasts Creevy’s voice, along with chimes and various beats throughout, making for a bop-worthy track.
Stuffed & Ready was produced by Carlos de la Garza and expresses the importance of figuring yourself out before anything else. You can find the original version of “Daddi” on this album, along with many other great tracks.
