Listen: Courtney Marie Andrews collaborates with Liz Cooper, Molly Sarlé for Simon & Garfunkel cover

The three artists shared their own take on 'America'

Courtney Marie Andrews has collaborated with Liz Cooper and Molly Sarlé for a cover of Simon & Garfunkel’s classic track “America.”

“This song is a beautiful novella of a certain place in time that stirs our emotions,” Andrews explains. “While we were all at a writer’s retreat, we decided to sing harmony on it, to bring us closer together and reminisce over that free feeling of travel and love.”

The track was originally released as part of Good Music To Avert the Collapse Of American Democracy Vol. 2, which was a special compilation album with proceeds going toward Voting Rights Lab. Now, the track has been given a full release on streaming services.
