HAIM have shared a new deluxe edition of their highly acclaimed 2020 album, Women in Music Pt. III, and it features new versions of “Gasoline,” which features Taylor Swift, and “3am,” which featured Thundercat.
HAIM sisters Este and Daniel previously collaborated with Taylor Swift on her evermore track, “no body, no crime,” which works as a take on The Chicks’ “Goodbye Earl.” Now, Swift has added her own take to HAIM’s rollicking track, “Gasoline.”
“When we were thinking about ways to reimagine some of the tracks from the record, we immediately thought of her,” HAIM wrote on Instagram of the Swift collab. “She brought such amazing ideas and new imagery to the song and truly gave it a new life.”

The new rendition of “3am,” which features revolutionary jazz fusion artist Thundercat, is just as refreshing. The new version comes packed with an even deeper groove than the original, as Thundercat brings a more nuanced, experimental instrumentation to the track.
