Listen: Helena Deland Shares New Synth-Pop Single ‘Claudion’

Catch Helena Deland live in Toronto at Camp Wavelength

While Montreal-based artist Helena Deland’s approach to releasing music is hardly conventional, there’s no question that her latest single is modern synth-pop masterpiece. “Claudion” comes from Deland’s forthcoming third and fourth volumes of From The Series Of Songs “Altogether Unaccompanied,” a series of EPs showcasing her tender folk, synth-infused pop, and 80s-inspired alternative.

“The songs are to be considered as their own little things,” she says about her unconventional release structure. “They are part of something larger, yes, but they live on their own.”
