LISTEN: Hollerado Makes Custom Music for Fans

Listen to "Firefly" and "Sorry You're Alright" from 111 Songs

For proactive Hollerado fans that pre-ordered the album, the local band has created customized songs that will be released under the banner 111 Songs.

Included in the collection is “Firefly (Annie Murphy)”, custom-written for pre-order buyer Annie Murphy, aka frontman Menno Versteeg’s wife, and was written after a fire destroyed their Toronto condo. Some of the songs are directly about the person who ordered the songs, while others are inspired by details about the buyer.

111 Songs will be released on March 24, and to celebrate Record Store Day on April 18, some of the songs will be put onto a glow-in-the-dark 7-inch.

Listen to “Firefly (Annie Murphy)” and “Bottomless Pit (Stephanie Green)” and “Sorry You’re Alright (Evan from Grimsby)” below:

Hollerado is set to begin recording their third album in a New York studio on February 9.
