Beloved electronic producer Jamie XX announced only this week that he would be releasing his debut solo album In Colour and has already dropped the album’s first track, “Loud Places”. The single features fellow The xx band member Romy Madley Croft, but the similarities between the two projects end there. “Loud Places” is an all encompassing arrangement, featuring a soft electronic mix with a soulful backup underneath Croft’s ethereal melody.
