Toronto rapper Jazz Cartier has been slowly climbing up to his throne of downtown rap prince ever since his debut mixtape Marauding in Paradise from 2015. His follow-up Hotel Paranoia further cemented him as one to watch, as the international attention skyrocketed.
All this lead to him signing a major deal with Capitol Records, something that was a long-time coming for the former Kensington resident.
His second song for Red Bull Sound Select, produced by Mike WiLL Made-It, was released today. The song, “Make A Mess (feat. Ro Ransom),” has Cartier exploring new territory, as he does with every new release. It further shows the diversity of his sound and what he’s capable of.
Big things are coming from the Toronto rapper, with his upcoming release Fleurever rumoured to be out this year.
