Listen: Kasador Explore Dynamic Storytelling with ‘Skeleton Park’

Kingston-based band return with two new songs

Kingston, Ontario-based rockers Kasador have returned with their first new songs since releasing their self-titled EP in 2016. The band has spent the past year touring and drawing on their creative influences leading up to the release of singles “Come Get Yer Money” and “Skeleton Park.”

Guitarist and vocalist Will Hunter spoke to Indie88 about the band’s new tracks.

“‘Skeleton Park’ is a departure from what we’ve done in the past, but it came together organically in the studio,” Hunter told Indie88 via email. “All we had was a chord progression and a drum beat going into the session. We all worked on lyrics and melody – with Nick spearheading the idea behind the song and really running with it. Two days later we tracked the song. As a band we rarely work like that, which I think brought a really cool energy to the song and the session.”
