Listen: King Princess and Mark Ronson cover The Turtles’ ‘Happy Together’

King Princess' debut album 'Cheap Queen' is set for release on October 25

While gearing up for the release of her debut album on Mark Ronson’s Zelig Records, King Princess has combined forces with the producer to cover The Turtles’ “Happy Together.”

Ronson and KP’s rendition of the 1967 hit sees King Princess taking the lead on vocals, adding a sultry, crooning tone to the track atop Ronson’s downtempo beat. Their rendition of “Happy Together” adds a perfectly modern twist to the classic tune, with shimmering synths, a cyclical beat, and slightly processed vocal lines.
