Up-and-coming star King Princess is gearing up for her debut full-length album, and she’s now given fans a first glimpse at the record with the release of her groove-worthy new single, “Cheap Queen.”

The brief tracks clocks in just under three minutes, and sees the artist truly paving the way for a new, subversive genre of pop music. King Princess weaves her way through brooding verses as her vocals lean toward a ballad, while the instrumentals make for for a catchy, upbeat, light bop.
