Listen: Mark Ronson drops ‘Pieces of Us’ featuring King Princess

Ronson's forthcoming album 'Late Night Feelings' drops on Friday

Songwriter and producer Mark Ronson, who is best known for his collaborations with Amy Winehouse, Lady Gaga, Adele and more, has collaborated with King Princess on a new track.

Ronson has released “Pieces of Us” ahead of his upcoming album, Late Night Feelings, which is set to release this Friday. The song is co-produced by the Picard Brothers and features Mikaela Straus, also known as King Princess, who happens to be Ronson’s prodigy. Straus is a New York singer who was signed to Ronson’s record label, Zelig. Her girlfriend is also featured in the song, as she provides the backup vocals for the song.

“Pieces of Us” is a melancholic dance-pop number about the trials and hardships in a relationship, and falling in love and out of love. Although the song is sad, it’s catchy, memorable and it will leave you hyped for “Late Night Feelings,” which is filled with sad tunes, or as Ronson puts it, “Sad Bangers.”
