September 22nd marks the return of METZ, the day their highly-anticipated new album Strange Peace is released.
It’s only been two years since II, and the band have put themselves through a drastic evolution, which they say has taken them “past where the band has done before, while capturing the notorious intesity of their live show.”
“The songs on Strange Peace are about uncertainty,” the band’s Alex Edkins said in a press release. “They’re about recognizing that we’re not always in control of our own fate, and about admitting our mistakes and fears. They’re about finding some semblance of peace within the chaos.”
Today the legendary Toronto rock group are sharing the first taste from their upcoming album in the form of ‘Cellophane’. Listen below:
