He's dropping a covers album called 'California Son'

Morrissey has released a cover of Roy Orbison’s “It’s Over,” which features backing vocals by LP, as he has detailed his forthcoming covers album, California Love.

The album, which was produced by Joe Chiccarelli, features a stacked handful of guests including Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong, Broken Social Scene’s Ariel Engle, Young the Giant’s Sameer Gadhia, LP, Grizzly Bear’s Ed Droste, Petra Haden, and the Regrette’s Lydia Night.
