MUNA join forces with The Knocks for a new pandemic-appropriate banger called “Bodies.”
The feel-good anthem sees MUNA frontwoman Katie Gavin delivering sentimental lines over nostalgic synths, like, “It’s another suburban summer, the street lights blink on/ If you’re passing the house on the corner, you’d think no one’s home/ When I feel that 808 go, waving with the weight/ Grown bodies in the basement.”
“It was a great experience teaming up with MUNA to create ‘Bodies,'” The Knocks’ JPatt explains. “We wanted to capture a vibe that was nostalgic. Nostalgic for carefree nights and early mornings with your friends.”
