Listen: My Chemical Romance’s Gerard Way shares two previously unreleased songs

After sharing a four song EP earlier this month

Since the delay of the My Chemical Romance reunion tour, frontman Gerard Way has been sharing some new solo works lately. After sharing Distraction or Disrepair, Way has released two new tracks.

Overnight, Way shared “PS Earth” and “Crate Amp_01,” which marks a follow-up to “Crate Amp_2.” “PS Earth” is a track that “was recorded at the tail end of the Hesitant Alien demo sessions, just Doug and I,” Way explains. “I liked it well enough at the time, felt kind of 90’s, didn’t end up putting any vocals on it though.”

As for “Crate Amp_01” is more of a raw track, marking “the start of the Crate amp jam,” Way explains. “Like I mentioned in the other post about the Crate amp jams, I wasn’t sure when Doug was in record-mode, because I was in the live room with the amp, so I just started playing.”
