Listen: Neil Young releases new track ‘Try (feat. Levon Helm and Emmylou Harris)’

The track comes off of Young's shelved 1975 album 'Homegrown'

With multiple archival releases in the works, Neil Young has been keeping himself busy, and today he’s shared “Try (feat. Levon Helm and Emmylou Harris).”

The track comes off of one of the archival releases, which is the legendary shelved 1975 album Homegrown, which he decided not to put out because “it was a little too personal,” Young explained in a Rolling Stone interview.

Originally recorded at the Quadrafonic Sound Studios in December of 1974, the new track sees Helm delivering a killer drum line and Harris on backup vocals alongside Young’s other collaborators.
