Listen: Nick Cave features on Larry ‘Ratso’ Sloman’s ‘Our Lady of Light’

Sloman's forthcoming recort 'Our Lady of Light' is set for release in April

Author-writer-actor Larry “Ratso” Sloman is releasing his forthcoming album Stubborn Heart in April, and he has just released “Our Lady of Light,” which Nick Cave sings on as well.

The slow-building duet is set on an easy tempo, with dreamy, crooning, 50s-style vocals and a powerful instrumental. An organ lulls in the background of the track while Sloman and Cave sing of a captivating woman at a wedding. “I’m proud to be a part of this record,” Cave explained of the collaboration.

Sloman’s debut record will include eight original tracks, and a cover of Bob Dylan’s “Sad Eyed Lady of the Lowlands.” It will also feature other guests such as Warren Ellis, Sharon Robinson, Yasmine Hamdan, Imani Coppola, and more.
