LA-based indie pop artist Opus Orange has released a new track “Miles From Nowhere” off his upcoming album of the same name, out February 21st.
Opus Orange, a project led by musician Paul Bessenbacher, delivers another sweet, catchy track with this one. This upbeat tune plays into California’s dreamy beach vibes, similar to a song that would play in a beachside ice cream parlour or on a road trip along the West Coast.
According to a press release, “‘Miles From Nowhere’ explores the disorientation of arriving at the wrong destination.” With lyrics like “I woke up from another dream, I’m always seeing things that I should not believe/But I take my time, I feel you fade/Don’t look now, what was here has gone away,” Bessenbacher taps into nostalgia in a song that reflects on how much life can change when you least expect it.
