Phoebe Bridgers has dropped a cover of Conor Oberst’s “Mama Borthwick (A Sketch)” to support a venue in Los Angeles.
With the spread of COVID-19 most, if not all, concerts have been cancelled or postponed, and venues have temporarily closed. As a result, several venues have launched fundraisers to stay alive during the temporary closures, and now, Bridgers is helping out Los Angeles’ Bootleg Theater, which is where she met Oberst. Thus, Bridgers dropped a cover from his 2016 album Ruminations alongside a link to a GoFundMe to help out the popular venue.
