Radiohead’s Ed O’Brien has just unveiled his debut solo song, “Santa Teresa,” which is a preview of his long-awaited upcoming debut solo album.
O’Brien has earned a reputation as a strong singer in his own right, but despite this, O’Brien relies heavily on his guitar work for his single. Performing under the name EOB, the song is instrumental and filled with atmospheric tones and textures. For this song, O’Brien worked with producer Flood, whose roster of work includes albums by Nine Inch Nails, Smashing Pumpkins, PJ Harvey, Depeche Mode, U2 and Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds.
