Listen: Run The Jewels team up with Blink-182’s Travis Barker for new single ‘Forever’

After Run The Jewels released 'RTJ4' last month

After releasing their long-awaited album RTJ4 last month, Run The Jewels have collaborated with Blink-182’s Travis Barker for a new single called “Forever.”

The Blink-182 drummer produced the track, but it definitely carries some influence from El-P, with heavy drum sounds and explosive instrumentals. Both Killer Mike and El-P deliver powerful lines, and even compare themselves to Russian politicians.

“Rap’s Rasputin, I’m pulling pumps on pompous ass preachers and shooting/ I’m sitting on the last pew, pew-pewing/ One day, the poor will eat the affluent,” Killer Mike raps. “Boulder Dash, you not getting it past rap’s Putin, who ride a horse, bareback, shooting,” El-P says.
