Listen: Soccer Mommy joins forces with Beabadoobee for new tracks in charity single series

Upcoming instalments will feature MGMT's Andrew VanWyngarden and Sasami

Soccer Mommy has joined forces with Beabadoobee for the latest release in her ongoing charity single series, Soccer Mommy & Friends. Money raised from the series is going to Oxfam’s coronavirus relief fund and National Bail Out.

Last month, Soccer Mommy shared the first two tracks from the series, which sees new releases arriving every two weeks. The first tracks saw Jay Som covering Soccer Mommy’s “lucy,” and Soccer Mommy covering Jay Som’s “I Think You’re Alright.”

This instalment sees Soccer Mommy and Beabadoobee sharing demos of two previously released songs, “If You Want To” and “night swimming.” “I Wanted to put this demo out because I like how stripped back and simple it is,” Soccer Mommy explains. “It’s not that far off from the album version but it just kind of gets to the core of the song.”
